We came, we saw, and we sold coffee in the hot, hot sun and the wet, wet rain. Each hot drink was literally hand-crafted, ie: hand-grinded, water boiled off a gas-powered stove and made on the spot either with the V60 or the Kalita Wave 185. For cold, we had some 24 hour steeped Cold Brew made from our Jaffa Blend (Indonesia Toraja, Kenya and Guatemala) to cool off.
Thanks for dropping by and we hope the coffee was good! It was an interesting experience with Art for Grabs Bazaar in the Park in conjunction with Art in the Park. Art in the Park is still on the next week or so, so do check it out!
We’ve still got Square Mile Roaster’s beans from last weekend and we will be at Red Bean Bag this week and next week.
This week we are serving some of the last of the Ethiopia Wanago (natural processed, sweet, hints of dark choc and orange, funky as it cools) and two Kenyas. The Kenyas are really interesting as we have two different screen sizes/bean sizes – AA and Peaberry (PB) and they do taste slightly different from each other. Also, we have Sprezzatura’s Toraja as our ‘safe’ option on the menu so if you have not tried this, here is your chance.
So come by the The Red Bean Bag, Publika, Tuesday-Friday 3-7pm. See you then.
